PAST EVENTS

Previously…

Road Trip, A Satire of Life (A screening of 3 films)

A screening entitled Road Trip, A Satire of LIfe, was held on 20 March 2009. Three short films made by our very own nuSTUDIOS members was screened at the event . Positive responses were received from the audiences and we would like to take this chance to thank all that had made this an successful event.

Script Market

Script Market was held on 27th March 2009. We had over ten members pitching their potential script ideas to those present at the event.  It was a fulfilling session as everyone had a great time listening to all the insightful and provocative script ideas that were being pitched, while the scriptwriters made use of the chance to garner support and meet potential production members.

Song of Kent Ridge

nuSTUDIOS participated in a collaboration project with NUS Chinese Orchestra to produce a video backdrop for their piece “Song Of Kent Ridge”. The video accompaniment to the piece is a story of how NUS has made Kent Ridge her home, and it showcases the vibrant campus life amongst the greenery. During the concert on 7 March 2009, the video was screened successfully to a 400-strong audience at the UCC.

Collaboration with Lee Chee Tian

Recently, several nuSTUDIOS members helped out with Lee Chee Tian, an independent filmmaker, in his documentary production in NUS School of Computing. The documentary explores the life of an ex-student in NUS, Peter Loh, who is less-abled but was still able to obtain a First-class honours degree.

nuSTUDIOS wishes all members a happy and fulfilling holiday!
