Synopsis:

The first feature film by nuSTUDIOS, Hype is a romantic tragicomedy-cum-satire of
the advertising industry. While its story line may be simple, its messages are
robust.

Hype is a romantic tragicomedy, cum satire on the advertising industry. Dave meets
the enigmatic Sandra, who seems too good to be true. He gets the age old question:
Does the perfect woman exist? Is everything, all HYPE? We are our best products.
And we sell ourselves all the time.

Hype premiered at GV Grand, Great World City, on 13 August 2001, with Minister for
Information and the Arts, Mr Lee Yock Suan and Mrs Lee as the Guests-of-Honour.
The film was screened for a total of four days.
