nuSTUDIOS Film Productions In Collaboration with the Library@Esplanade

PRESENTS

“Shooting in Singapore”

From the unique perspective of student film-makers with no formal training in film, nuSTUDIOS seeks to present the film production process in an accessible language. “Shooting in Singapore” is a sharing session on how to find and secure the right location for your film, plus tips on how to dress up your set. Also, catch a screening of the short film “Friday Morning” about an entertainer-wannabe who revives her long lost dream to dance.

Programme Line-Up:

Our programme will include a sharing session with our speakers as well as a screening of our short film as a tie-in to the talk. The programme will end with a short question and answer session where the audience can discuss with the film-makers or share their views on the topic.

Speakers: Gillian Lim and Ching Biyun

Facilitator: Izmir Ickbal

Synopsis of our film, Friday Morning (2005):
An entertainer-wannabe is possessed by her conscience-spirit one comfy, quiet Friday morning. She revives her long lost dream and dances in a kopitiam.

Do what you like. Be what you dream. Have fun. It’s a Friday morning.
