WE ♥ FILMS 2009

Hello everyone! WE ♥ FILMS is back! And this time, we will be screening a variety of
foreign films for all of our members.

First up, we will be showing The Host, a South Korean monster film. The film follows
a man’s desperate attempt to save his daughter after she is captured by an unknown
beast.
The movie was critically acclaimed worldwide for effectively combining
scares and laughs into a wholesome film, as well as for its subtle political undertones.
Furthermore, it had made its way into several critics’ top ten movies list of 2007 and
won quite a few international awards.

directed by Bong Jun-ho
and starring Song Kang-ho (of Joint Security Area fame)
Date and time: 30th September 2009, 6.30pm
Venue: Central Library Theatrette 1 (Level 4, Besides Loan Desk)
Admission is free and for members ONLY! However, each member is allowed
to bring 2 friends for the event.
*Film is rated PG
After the show, there will be a short discussion session
conducted by a fellow nuSTUDIOS member, Hee En Ming.
