A life lost. A brotherhood betrayed. KIERAN struggles to accept the return of his brother KENNETH from prison. 1. A ride taken for fun and often for the thrills provided by reckless driving.
  2. A hazardous, reckless, often costly venture.

How far must you go before you finally find yourself?

Relive the memories of first romance in Waiting (2007) as LING falls in love with JAMES, only to find herself being taken for a ride… Join KIEREN in Pardon Me (2007) as he goes on a joyride in his father’s car, only to pick up a mysterious passenger who helps him find his own capacity to forgive… Discover what goes on behind closed doors in Last Stranger Under the Heavens (2006), as two strangers exchange glances in a hotel elevator…

JOY RIDE invites you on an intimate journey to explore the painful but paradoxically thrilling recklessness involved in the attempts to fill up a void left by something, or someone.
