2. What does nuSTUDIOS do with the films that they make?

Our films will travel both locally and internationally in film festivals and competitions. We also screen our films in our own film screenings or through various screening platforms in Singapore.

3. What are the normal activities of nuSTUDIOS?

We have our annual Film School training programme which gives our members basic hands on experience in making their own short films, from writing your script to shooting with a camera to editing your film. Following this basic course, we will move on to advanced sessions in specific areas of filmmaking, i.e. cinematography, lighting or script development. We will invite professionals from the industry to conduct talks and training for these advanced sessions. Apart from the Film School training, we have film screening sessions where we screen a wide range of films to expose our members in film appreciation. Also, during the holidays, we will be involved in our major film productions, where we will be shooting and editing our new films.

4. How often does nuSTUDIOS make films?

Normally we will have 3-4 major productions during the holidays. Also, we do films for CFA groups, NUS societies or even requests from outside parties. Films are also made when we have film camps, or Film School where we let members have hands on experience on film making.

5. Do i need any prior experience in film making?

Nope! Anyone who is interested in making films or simply watching films can join us. We will be providing our Film School training and film screenings to start you off in making your first film with us.

6. How do I get my film made with nuSTUDIOS?

We are always looking for scripts or ideas that can be developed into films. If you have any, feel free to send it to us. We will look through your script, and if we love it, you will have a chance to work with us to have your script developed and made into a film in one of our major productions.
