The forum has drawn to a successful close yesterday. We want to thank Kristin for being the moderator of this event. We would also like to thank our speakers Bee Thiam, Robert, April and Leonard for sharing with us their valuable experiences.

We would also like to thank The Substation for providing us the venue for this event.

We also extend our gratitude to everyone in the audience who brought up many interesting questions that sparked off an insightful discussion with our speakers. This event could not have been successful without your contributions.

LATEST RELEASE — Our films Hedgehog’s Complex and Devil’s Playground have been selected for screening at the Arts House. The screening is part of the programme for the Celebrate Drama Festival 2007 organised by the SDEA.

The festival consists of art installation, film screenings, theatre, plays, workshops etc, all under one roof at the Arts House and the Asian Civilisations Musuem. nuSTUDIOS is proud to announce that Last Stranger Under the Heavens has been invited to participate in the 30th Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF)!

AAIFF is the country’s longest-running festival dedicated to showcasing works by artists of Asian descent. This year, the festival will run from July 19-28 at the Asia Society.

The festival has introduced many important Asian American and Asian artists to New York audiences and has premiered the works of filmmakers such as Stephen Chow, Lav Diaz, Marilou Diaz-Abaya, Arthur Dong, Michael Kang, Eric Khoo, Kei Kumai, Miike Takashi, Mira Nair, Narushima Izuru, Oxide Pang, Pang Ho- cheung, Park Chan-wook, SABU, Rea Tajiri, Johnnie To, Tsui Hark, Wayne Wang, and Zhang Yang, as well as spotlighting films by Oscar- winning artists Christine Choy, Keiko Ibi, Ang Lee, Steven Okazaki, Chris Tashima, and Jessica Yu.

The film will be screened as part of a collection of short films under the program:
I Love You To Death.

nuSTUDIOS Film Camp June 2007 came to a successful close on 28th June, Thurs. On behalf of Kenny, Shing Kae, Meng Tat, Aik Hoe, Jia Jian, myself and the rest of the nuSTUDIOS steering committee we thank you for participating in this camp. It was truly our pleasure to organize this camp for you.

We sincerely hope all of you had a fun and enriching experience making your very own mini-productions. We hope this camp has helped you better understand how films are actually produced. We also hope this experience has enabled you to better appreciate all the hardwork put in to all the films, movies and other productions you see in future. We value the feedbacks you have provided us and will strive to make our future camps even better.
