PRESENTS
“Pitfalls in a Production (and other things you never thought to ask!)”
From the unique perspective of student film-makers with no formal training in film, nuSTUDIOS seeks to present the film production process in an accessible language. “Pitfalls in a Production (and other things you never thought to ask!)” is a sharing session on how to avoid or deal with potential pitfalls that may ruin your production. Expect lots of anecdotes as our film-makers share their first-time experiences on set. Also catch a screening of their debut films “Waiting” and “Pardon Me”.
Our programme will include a sharing session with our speakers as well as a screening of our short film as a tie-in to the talk. The programme will end with a short question and answer session where the audience can discuss with the film-makers or share their views on the topic.
Speakers: Maybelline Teo, Seah Aik Hoe, Darrell Wee and Melinda Tan
ALL are welcome! FREE ADMISSION !

Anything can happen in the unpredictably fickle game of love. You can be as snug as puppies one day and cold as ice the next. LING falls for JAMES whom she thinks is the perfect guy for her. But when this fairytale romance takes a turn for the worse, Ling falls into an abyss of sleepless nights and finds herself playing the tormenting game of waiting. Will she continue to get trapped in the lost relationship, clinging onto lost hope, waiting for the call that will never come, pining for the Prince Charming who will never return? |

A life lost. A brotherhood betrayed. KIERAN struggles to accept the return of his brother KENNETH from prison. The night before KENNETH’s release, KIERAN goes on a joyride in his father’s car – only to pick up a mysterious passenger who helps him remember the symbiotic kinship he once treasured with his brother. Forgiveness is difficult, but worth it. |
